Cream Puffs
Cream Puffs is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 12 minutes. Made with c. water, margarine, c. self-rising flour and eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Place water and margarine in a saucepan; bring to a boil. When margarine is melted, add the flour while saucepan is still on the stove.
Stir with a fork until dough forms a ball around the fork, then remove from heat.
This takes only a minute.
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Do not underbeat.
Drop batter by heaping tablespoonfuls onto a well-greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 15 minutes in a 425° oven, then reduce heat to 350° and bake for another 20 minutes.
