Cream-Filled Oatmeal Cookies
Cream-Filled Oatmeal Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. shortening, 2 c. packed brown sugar, 2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla extract and 4 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Cream shortening, brown sugar and sugar in bowl until light and fluffy.
Stir in vanilla.
Beat in eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in mixture of sifted flour, oats, coconut, salt and soda.
Roll into balls.
Place on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350Β° for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on cookie sheet for 2 minutes.
Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
Spread filling between cookies.
