Cranberry Sauce
Cranberry Sauce is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. cranberries, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/4 c. orange juice and 2 to 3 tbsp. cranberry liqueur (or grand marnier), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Using microwave
Combine sugar and orange juice in a 1 1/2-quart container.
Cook 1 to 2 minutes in microwave on High. Stir to dissolve sugar.
Boil mixture 5 minutes, or until syrup is candy consistency.
Add cranberries and cook 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, or until most cranberries have popped.
Stir well and cover to stand for several minutes.
Add liqueur and stir.
May be served warm, chilled or prepared in advance.
