Cranberry Cheese Bars
Cranberry Cheese Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. unsifted flour, 1 1/2 c. oats, 3/4 c. plus 1 tbsp. packed brown sugar, 1 c. oleo (softened) and 2 tbsp. cornstarch, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
In large bowl combine flour, oats, 3/4 cup sugar and oleo.
Mix until crumbly.
Reserving 1 1/2 cups crumb mixture, press remainder on bottom of greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
Bake 15 minutes.
In small bowl beat cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk; stir in lemon juice. Spread evenly over prepared crust.
