Cran-Orange Glazed Cornish Hen
Cran-Orange Glazed Cornish Hen is an easy dinner. Made with 2 (1 1/4 lb.) rock cornish hens (skin removed), 1/4 tsp. pepper, 1/4 c. cranberry sauce, 1/2 tsp. grated orange peel and 1 garlic clove, minced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven to 375Β°.
Place hens, breast side up in roasting pan.
Rub evenly with pepper.
Roast about 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, in saucepan over medium heat, cook cranberry sauce, orange peel and garlic about 3 minutes until cranberry sauce melts.
Brush hens evenly with sauce.
Continue to roast for 15 minutes longer until hens are tender.
Makes 4 servings (1/2 hen each).
