Country French Baked Chicken
Country French Baked Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 whole chicken, 1/2 lb. potatoes, quartered, 1/2 lb. carrots, thickly sliced, 8 small white onions, peeled and 1 c. dry white wine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Place chicken, carrots, potatoes, onions, wine and broth in small roasting pan.
Season with salt and pepper.
Roast, uncovered, at 400Β°, basting chicken and vegetables.
Cook bacon until browned, not crisp.

Saute until mushrooms are lightly browned.
Add to roasting pan after chicken has cooked 30 minutes.
