Corn Chowder
Corn Chowder is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. smoked sausages, 1 c. potatoes, cubed, 2/3 c. water, 1/2 tsp. pepper and 2 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Slice sausage into 1/4-inch thick slices.
In a dutch oven, combine sausage, corn, potatoes, onion, water, bouillon, and pepper.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer about 10 minutes until corn and potatoes are just tender, stirring occasionally.
Stir in 3 c. of the milk and the margarine.
Combine remaining milk and the flour.
Stir milk-flour mixture into the corn mixture.
Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly.
Cook and stir 1 minute more.
*If using creamed corn, add creamed corn just before stirring in the milk.
Makes 6 main servings.
