Confetti Caramel Corn
Confetti Caramel Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 7 c. trix cereal, 1/3 c. margarine or butter, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1/3 c. packed brown sugar and 2 tbsp. light corn syrup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Heat oven to 300Β°.
Place cereal in a jelly roll pan, 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch.
Mix brown sugar, margarine and corn syrup in a 1 1/2-quart saucepan.
Heat mixture over medium heat about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until margarine is melted and mixture begins to boil.
Cook, without stirring, 4 minutes longer. (Mixture will boil and turn golden brown.)
Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and baking soda until mixture is foamy.
Pour over cereal; stir to coat evenly.
Bake 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Loosen right away from sides and bottom.
Cool. Makes 7 cups.
