Clam Bisque
Clam Bisque is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 can (6 oz.) mushrooms (stems and pieces), 2 cans (6 1/2 oz. each) minced or chopped clams, 1/2 c. minced onions, 2 tbsp. butter and 2 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Drain mushrooms and clams.
Reserve liquid.
Saute mushrooms, clams and onions in butter for 10 minutes.
Blend in flour, salt and pepper and simmer 5 minutes.
Stir in half and half; bring it to a boil.
Cool 5 minutes.
Pour half of mixture in blender, blending until smooth.
Return to saucepan and heat.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
