Chow Chow
Chow Chow is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 peck (12 1/2 lb.) green tomatoes, 8 large onions, 10 green bell peppers, 3 tbsp. salt and 6 hot peppers, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Chop tomatoes, onions and peppers together; cover with the salt and let stand overnight.
Drain and add the hot peppers, which have been chopped, vinegar and spices.
(Spices should be tied loosely in cheesecloth bag.)
Add sugar.
Allow to boil slowly until tender (about 15 minutes).
