Chocolate-Coconut Cookies
Chocolate-Coconut Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. butter crisco, 1 1/4 c. brown sugar, 1 tbsp. milk, 1 tbsp. vanilla and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Heat oven to 375Β°.
Combine shortening, sugar, milk, vanilla and egg.
Beat well.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt.
Sift and stir into shortening mixture.
Stir in chocolate chips, nuts and coconut or apple.
Drop from spoon onto greased baking sheet. The secret of success is to bake cookies only until outside edges begin to turn brown, 6 to 8 minutes.
Remove from oven and allow to finish baking on sheet a couple minutes before moving cookies to rack to cool.
