Chili Mac
Chili Mac is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1/2 medium onion, chopped, 1/3 c. chopped green pepper, 1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes and 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans (undrained), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

In a large skillet, cook meat, onion and green pepper until meat is browned and vegetables are tender. (Electric skillet at 350°.) Drain off fat.
Stir in tomatoes, beans, tomato sauce, water, chili powder, salt and bay leaf.
Bring to a boil, then add macaroni.
Cover and reduce heat to low (220°).
Simmer, stirring frequently, until macaroni is cooked (about 10 to 15 minutes).
Remove the bay leaf before serving.
