Chicken-Rice Casserole
Chicken-Rice Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 1/3 c. flour, 1 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/8 tsp. pepper and 1 c. chicken broth, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Heat butter until melted.
Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until bubbly.
Remove and stir in broth and milk.
Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Pour into ungreased 2-quart casserole or oblong baking dish.
Cook, uncovered, for 40 to 45 minutes at 350Β°.
Sprinkle with parsley, if desired.
