Chicken in Port Wine
Chicken In Port Wine is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. olive oil, 4 chicken breasts, cut in strips, 2 cloves garlic, 1 yellow onion, chopped and 1/2 c. mushrooms, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Heat pan first, then add oil.
Brown chicken.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Cook and remove to heated plate.
Saute garlic, onion and mushrooms.
Add chicken and Port wine.
Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Remove chicken again.
Add sour cream and thicken with roux.
Add pepper again to taste.
Return chicken and serve over rice or pasta.
