Chicken and Corn Stew
Chicken And Corn Stew is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (3 or 4 lb.) chicken, 4 ears corn, cut in half, 1 qt. fresh or frozen creamed corn, salt and pepper to taste and 1 box crackers, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Boil chicken until tender.
Remove from heat and debone, saving stock.
Bring stock to a boil again and add chicken, corn on cobb and creamed corn.
Cook just until tender, being careful not to let corn stick to pot.
Remove from heat and add box of crackers or serve stew in soup bowls with crackers separate.
