Chewy Raisin Walnut Shortbread Bars
Chewy Raisin Walnut Shortbread Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. flour, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 2 eggs and 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Combine flour and sugar.
Using pastry blender or fork, cut in butter until mixture resembles fine meal.
Press into greased 8 x 8-inch pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 20 minutes or until edges are light brown.
Meanwhile combine eggs, brown sugar and vanilla; beat well. Stir in baking soda, walnuts, raisins and coconut.
Spoon over hot crust evenly.
Return to oven; bake an additional 20 to 25 minutes or until top is set.
Careful not to overcook.
