Cherokee Fry Bread
Cherokee Fry Bread is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 1 tbsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. salt, 1 1/4 c. milk and frying fat, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Flour, baking powder
Add milk.
Mix well. Working floured or greased hands, shape into biscuit shapes.
May be added to make dough firm. Fry in hot fat, enough to cover half the bread as it cooks, turning once. Bread will be golden brown.
Serve with honey, or
Indian style with soup, stew or beans.
