Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Stir in zucchini, cheese, and onion; set mixture aside. Combine egg and milk; add to flour mixture, stirring just until moistened. Carefully drop batter by rounded tablespoonfuls into 1 inch hot oil (375Β°).
Cook only a few at a time, turning once. Fry 2 to 3 minutes or until fritters are golden brown.
Drain well on paper towels.
