Cheesy Pudding
Cheesy Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 10 slices slightly stale white bread, 1/3 c. butter, 4 eggs, 3 c. milk and 1 1/3 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Trim crust off bread and cut in 4 pieces.
Butter each piece (40 pieces).
Grease soufflé dish; alternate layers of bread and cheese beginning with cheese on bottom and bread on top.
Combine eggs, milk, salt and dry mustard and pour over bread and cheese. Refrigerate overnight or at least 6 hours before baking.
Bring to room temperature and bake at 325 regress 40 minutes.
Mixture will rise to top of soufflé dish but after taking it out of the oven it will fall.
Very delicious an easy to make.
