Cheese Soup
Cheese Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. finely chopped carrot, 1/4 c. finely chopped celery, 1/4 c. flour, 1/4 tsp. salt and 1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded american cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

In covered saucepan, cook carrots, onion and celery in butter over low heat until tender.
Stir in flour and add broth and salt. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
Stir in cream or milk and cheese until cheese melts and soup is heated through.
Do not boil.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
