Cheddar Swiss Fondue
Cheddar Swiss Fondue is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 tbsp. butter, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1 clove garlic, minced, 1 can condensed cheddar soup and 1/4 c. chablis or other dry white wine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

In 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, cook onion and garlic in hot margarine for 10 minutes, stirring often.
Stir in soup, wine and caraway seed.
Gradually add cheese, stirring until smooth after each addition.
Pour cheese mixture into fondue pot.
Serve with pumpernickel or French bread cubes for dipping.
Makes 2 1/2 cups.
