Charlotte Russe
Charlotte Russe is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pt. whipping cream, 1 tsp. vanilla, 5 egg whites, sherry to taste and 1/4 c. cold milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Whip the cream until stiff; add vanilla and sugar, also sherry to taste.
Soften gelatin in cold milk, then dissolve in warm milk.
When cool, add to above mixture, beating the cream all of the time.
Add beaten egg whites.
Pour in bowl or dessert glasses lined with ladyfingers.
