Chapattis
Chapattis is an easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. oil, 1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour, 1 tsp. salt and 1/2 to 3/4 c. cold water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Mix thoroughly, the flour, salt and oil.
Add enough water to make a soft bread-like dough.
Divide into 8 balls and roll out thin; it will be about 8 inches in diameter.
Bake on a hot griddle or skillet a few minutes on each side.
May be spread with margarine and filled with rice, beans or any desired filling and rolled up, or eaten as is.
Makes 8 Chapattis.
