Challah
Challah is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. yeast, 3/4 c. tap hot water, 1 tbsp. sugar, 1 tsp. salt and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Dissolve yeast in hot water.
Add remaining ingredients.
Stir and then knead together.
Let rise in extra greased bowl about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Also grease top of dough.
Punch down, divide into 3 rolls (like clay snakes) and braid onto greased pan.
Let rise again for 3/4 hour.
Brush top with egg yolk.
Bake in a preheated oven at 375Β° for 20 to 25 minutes.
