Chadwick Island Sauce
Chadwick Island Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 tbsp. sugar, 1 tbsp. flour, 2 tsp. salt, 1/8 tsp. white pepper and 1/3 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In a 2-quart pan, whisk sugar, flour, salt, pepper and mustard.
Whisk in water until smooth.
Whisk in egg yolks and blend.
Add rest of ingredients, except oil; whisk constantly. Cook until thickened (5 minutes).
Do not let boil.
Take off heat and beat in oil.
Store in covered container.
Makes 1 1/2 cups.
