Cauliflower Cheese Puff
Cauliflower Cheese Puff is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 head cauliflower, 1 1/2 c. medium white sauce, 3/4 c. grated cheddar cheese, 4 eggs, separated and 1 tsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Cook cauliflower in salted boiling water until barely tender. Drain.
Put in a greased shallow baking dish.
Make white sauce; add cheese.
Beat egg yolks, sugar, salt and pepper.
Add to white sauce.
Beat egg whites until very stiff and fold into white sauce.
Pour over cauliflower.
Bake at 350Β° for about 20 minutes or until sauce is firm.
