Caramel Corn
Caramel Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter (2 sticks), 2 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 1/2 c. corn syrup (light or dark), 1 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Melt butter. Stir in brown sugar, syrup and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil without stirring 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in soda and vanilla.
Gradually pour over popcorn. Mix well. Turn on oven at 250Β° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from oven and cool. Break apart and store in tightly covered container.
Makes 5 quarts.
