Caramel Corn
Caramel Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 2 c. brown sugar, 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. corn syrup and 1/2 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Melt butter; stir in brown sugar, corn syrup and salt.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Boil without stirring for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Stir in baking soda and vanilla. Gradually pour over popped corn.
Mix well.
Turn into 2 large shallow baking or roasting pans.
Bake at 250Β° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Cool completely. Break apart and store in a tightly covered container.
Makes 5 quarts.
