Caramel
Caramel is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. butter, 1 tsp. vanilla, 3/4 c. corn syrup and 1 pt. thick cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Put sugar, syrup, butter and 1 cup cream on fire; stir until the mass boils thoroughly.
Then stir in gradually so as not to stop the boiling.
Add second cup of cream.
Cook until thermometer reads 260Β° or hard ball stage.
Add vanilla and pour into 8-inch square pan.
Cool, cut and wrap.
