Cantaloupe Parfait
Cantaloupe Parfait is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 basket strawberries, cut in halves, 1 large cantaloupe, cut into balls, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/4 c. water and 1/2 c. clover honey, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Alternate layers of strawberries and melon balls in 6 parfait glasses.
Chill.
Boil together sugar and water until the syrup spins a thread (230Β°).
Stir in honey, cinnamon and rum.
Cool and pour about 2 tablespoons over the fruit in each parfait glass. Decorate with mint sprigs.
Makes 6 servings.
