Cabbage Crown
Cabbage Crown is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1/3 c. flour, 3/4 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Combine ground beef, flour, salt, pepper, egg and nutmeg. Blend thoroughly.
Add onion and milk and after mixing, set aside. Trim off outward leaves of cabbage.
Slice off 1 inch from core end with sharp knife and hollow out cabbage to leave a shell 1/2-inch thick.
Spoon meat mixture into shell.
Fit cut slice back into place and tie with kitchen string.
Place stuffed cabbage, core end down in Dutch oven.
Add boiling water and cover.
Bake at 375Β° for 1 1/2 hours.
