Butterscotch Fondue
Butterscotch Fondue is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 2 c. brown sugar, 1 c. light corn syrup, 1 (15 oz.) sweetened condensed milk and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In saucepan, melt butter.
Stir in sugar, syrup and 4 tablespoons water.
Bring to boil.
Stir in milk; simmer, stirring constantly, until mixture reaches thread stage (230Β°) this does not have to be precise.
Add vanilla and pour into fondue pot or dish for buffet table.
More water can be added if it thickens.
