π Recipe adapted from RecipeNLG-Full
Melt margarine (butter).
Mix margarine, peanut butter and sugar together until completely blended and smooth.
If mixture is too soft for rolling, add a little extra sugar.
Roll into smooth balls about the size of a buckeye.
Melt together one 12 ounce bag of chocolate chips and 1/8 cake of paraffin.
Using toothpicks, dip balls into chocolate chip mixture, leaving a portion around toothpicks uncoated.
(It may be necessary to prepare a second batch of the chocolate chip mixture.)
Place dipped balls on waxed paper or baking paper until chocolate has hardened.
Store in tin can.
Makes about 150 to 200 buckeyes.
