Brunch Puff is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 slices bacon, 2 onions, sliced, 12 slices white bread, quartered, 1/2 lb. swiss cheese, shredded and 8 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cook bacon until crisp; remove from pan.

Cook onion in bacon drippings until soft.

Spread 1/2 of the bread in the bottom of a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

Sprinkle with 1/2 the bacon (crumbled), onions and cheese.

Repeat layers.

Combine eggs, milk, salt and pepper.

Pour egg mixture over top layer in pan.

The casserole can be prepared to this stage in advance and stored in the refrigerator until 1 hour before serving time.

Bake in oven (350Β°) for 45 to 50 minutes until set and puffed.

Makes 8 servings.
