Broc-Aroni and Cheese
Broc-Aroni And Cheese is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 oz. elbow macaroni, 1 c. chopped broccoli (fresh) or cooked frozen, 4 tbsp. fat-free margarine, 2 tbsp. flour and 2 c. skim milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Cook macaroni as directed. Steam fresh broccoli 6 minutes or cook frozen as directed.
In saucepan, melt margarine.
Stir in flour until thick and smooth. Remove from heat.
Add milk, salt, pepper, all the Mozzarella and 1/2 of the Cheddar.
Stir well until cheese melts.
Add macaroni, crumbs, remaining Cheddar and broccoli; mix thoroughly.
Turn into an 8 x 8-inch shallow baking dish sprayed with nonstick spray. Bake at 375Β° until bubbly, 10 to 15 minutes.
