Breakfast Sausage Casserole
Breakfast Sausage Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 slices of white bread, margarine, 1 lb. ground pork sausage, 1 1/2 c. shredded cheese and 6 large eggs, lightly beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Trim crust from bread slices, spread margarine over one side of bread.
Place bread slices, buttered side up in bottom of a lightly greased 13 x 9 pan.
Brown sausage in large skillet, stirring until it crumbles.
Spoon sausage over bread.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Combine eggs, half and half, and salt.
Pour over cheese.
Cover and chill 8 hours or overnight.
Remove from refrigerator, let stand covered for 15 minutes.
Uncover and bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
