Breakfast Crumb Cake
Breakfast Crumb Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour, 1 3/4 c. sugar, 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Sift together the flour, sugar, salt and cream of tartar. Blend in oleo. Work as for pie dough.
Take out 3/4 cup crumbs for topping.
Add eggs (beaten slightly) and 1 cup buttermilk alternately to first mixture.
Blend until smooth.
Dissolve baking soda in 1/4 cup buttermilk and add to mixture.
Add vanilla and mix well.
Divide batter into three 7-inch pie pans, greased and floured.
Top with crumbs.
Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 400Β° for 30 to 35 minutes.
