Brandied Peaches
Brandied Peaches is an easy dinner. Made with 2 (1 lb. 13 oz. each) cans peach halves, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 c. brandy (peach or fruit brandy preferred) and 3 to 4 drops almond extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Drain peaches and reserve 1 cup juice.
Mix sugar with the reserved peach juice and boil until reduced to half of the original quantity.
Measure and stir in equal amount of brandy, approximately 1/2 cup, and almond extract.
Pour brandy syrup over peaches and serve.
Yields 6 to 8 servings.
