Beef Stroganoff
Beef Stroganoff is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. beef, cubed, 1 tsp. garlic powder, 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 1/2 c. minced onion and 1/4 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Roll cubed meat in flour and fry in hot butter until browned. Add garlic powder and onion and saute until onion becomes transparent.
Add water and cook until meat becomes tender (about 30 minutes).
Add soup and mushrooms and continue cooking, uncovered, over low heat until mixture becomes thick (about 20 minutes).
Just before serving, stir in sour cream.
Heat, but do not boil.
