Beef Burgundy
Beef Burgundy is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. round steak, 1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, 1 tbsp. flour, 1 envelope dry onion soup mix and 1 3/4 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Cut steaks into 1-inch cubes.
Brown meat slowly in skillet sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Transfer to 1 1/2-quart casserole, which has a tight fitting cover.
Add remaining ingredients.
Stir well.
Cover and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
Remove cover and bake an additional 15 minutes. Serve over rice or egg noodles.
