Beef Bourguignon
Beef Bourguignon is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. beef cubes (preferably sirloin tips), 2 slices bacon, 1 can condensed golden mushroom soup, 1/2 c. red wine and 1 large clove garlic, minced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
In a large heavy pot, cook bacon until crisp and remove.
In bacon drippings, brown beef cubes.
Add soup, wine, garlic, bay leaf, parsley and bacon. Season to taste.
Cover and cook over low heat for 1 hour. Stir occasionally.
Add onions and cook 1 hour longer or until tender. Remove bay leaf.
Serves 4 to 6.
Serve with rice or noodles.
