Bavarian Pot Roast
Bavarian Pot Roast is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (3 lb.) beef chuck roast, 2 tbsp. flour, 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, 1 (6 oz.) can frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed and 1 medium onion, cut in wedges, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Coat meat with flour.
In large kettle, brown in oil.
Add juice concentrate, onion, bouillon and spices.
Cover and simmer 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Add carrots and potatoes, cover and simmer 45 minutes.
Add apples, cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Refrigerate leftovers.
