Barbecue Brisket
Barbecue Brisket is an easy dinner. Made with 4 to 6 lb. brisket, 3 oz. liquid smoke, salt, pepper and worcestershire sauce, 6 oz. barbecue sauce and 2 tbsp. or 1/2 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Sprinkle each side of brisket with celery, onion and garlic salt.
Then pour over liquid smoke.
Place in refrigerator, covered, to marinate overnight.
When ready to bake, sprinkle with salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
Cover and bake at 275Β° for 5 hours.
Uncover and add barbecue sauce.
Continue baking 1 hour. Remove meat from pan and let cool 1 hour.
Add water to sauce in pan.
