Banana Pudding
Banana Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 eggs, 2/3 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. cornstarch or 2 tbsp. flour, 2 c. milk and 2 or 3 bananas, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Egg yolks; add sugar and cornstarch or flour, and mix thoroughly.
Cook in a double boiler until creamy, stirring constantly.
Remove the heat and add vanilla. Place alternate layers of wafers and sliced bananas in baking dish.
Pour custard over bananas and wafers.
Beat egg whites until stiff and sweeten with 4 tablespoons sugar. Spread over pudding and brown in 350Β° oven.
