Banana Cream Pie
Banana Cream Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. white sugar, 3 tbsp. flour, 2 tbsp. cornstarch, 1/4 tsp. salt and 3 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Combine sugar, flour, cornstarch and salt in a large saucepan. Stir in milk slowly.
Cook, stirring constantly, over moderate heat until mixture thickens and bubbles.
Continue cooking and stirring until mixture is very thick, about 6 minutes longer. Beat eggs in medium size bowl until frothy.
Stir 1/2 of cooked mixture; blend well.
Return to saucepan, blending in mixture. Cook 2 minutes more over low heat.
Stir in vanilla.
Place a piece of plastic wrap directly on surface; cool.
Slice bananas into pie shell.
Pour cooled cream filling over bananas.
Chill.
