Banana Bread
Banana Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. granulated sugar, 1/2 c. butter, 2 eggs, 1 c. mashed bananas and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
In a large bowl, cream sugar and butter.
Add eggs and banana and mix well.
Set aside.
In a large bowl, sift flour, salt and baking soda.
Add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk, mixing well after each addition.
Fold in walnuts.
Pour into greased 8 x 4 x 3-inch bread pan and bake in preheated 350Β° oven for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean from center.
Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
Wrap loaf in foil and store in refrigerator.
