Baked Fudge Dessert
Baked Fudge Dessert is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 eggs, separated, 2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. cocoa, 1 c. soft butter and 2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Beat egg yolks until light and lemon colored.
Sift sugar and cocoa together; beat into yolks, 1 tablespoon at a time.
Beat long and hard.
Add soft butter; again, beat long and hard.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Fold into yolk mixture; stir in vanilla. Sift in flour.
With a large spoon, fold into mixture, along with nuts.
Pour into a 9-inch square glass baking dish.
Bake in pan of hot water in slow oven (300Β°) for 60 minutes.
Cool; cut into squares and serve, topped with ice cream.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
