Baked Custard
Baked Custard is an easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. sugar, 2 eggs, dash of salt, 2 c. skim milk and 1/2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Beat eggs slightly; add sugar and salt.
Scald milk until crinkly film forms on top.
Stir in egg mixture gradually.
Add vanilla.
Pour into custard cups or baking dish; set in pan of hot water.
Sprinkle nutmeg on top.
Bake at 350Β° for 45 to 50 minutes until knife inserted comes out clean.
Remove from pan of water. Serve cool or chilled.
