Now put a small amount of the mixture on each clam.
Cut the bacon in sizes large enough to cover each clam (1/2 shell). Sprinkle bread crumbs over all and arrange on an oiled baking dish. bake in a 300° to 375° oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
