Bacon Quiche
Bacon Quiche is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 frozen pie shell, 1 c. mozzarella cheese, grated, 8 to 10 slices bacon, 3 eggs, beaten and 1 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Prebake pie shell at 350° for 10 minutes.
Fry (or bake) bacon until crisp; crumble into small pieces to yield 3/4 cup. Combine eggs, milk, nutmeg, onion, salt and pepper.
Beat well. Sprinkle prebaked pie shell with cheese and bacon; pour in egg mixture.
Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Serves 6 to 8.
